Drumbrae Leisure Centre is a bright, airy single level venue that takes advantage of its hilltop location with plenty of green spaces and breathtaking views of the Firth of Forth. The large windows in our swimming pool and fitness studio provide an open outlook and make this a place to inspire and enjoy a healthy active lifestyle.

Nothing to do, nowhere to go, spent your allowance? If you’re in S1-S6, Open All Hours could be the answer - come try out new sports or fitness and dance classes, work out in the gym, join in a game of football or meet up with friends.

Football

Courts are available for 5-a-side football. Make casual bookings direct through reception here at Drumbrae.

Whether you've never swum before,  just starting out or more confident in the water, we can offer coaching to support you on your swim journey. We have Beginners' sessions where you can gain confidence and learn different strokes. More confident swimmers can develop their technique and fitness at our Stroke Development classes. Adults of all ages, including those over 60 years, are welcome.  

Looking for something more relaxing? Our 10-week Tai Chi course is an exercise system for stress reduction and self–healing for all ages and abilities and is a progressive course with emphasis on developing your Tai Chi abilities.

Take to the water with classes for baby to pre-school and for children who are new to swimming or not yet swimming confidently over 5 metres unaided, develop through our programme of classes from Beginner to Elite and with ASN Beginner for children with additional needs.

Out of the water we have Mini-Athletics for pre-schoolers to courses for teens, Gym Nippers Parent and Toddler classes are for children aged 18 months to 3 years with our focus to improve coordination and motor skills through song, dance and movement and classes in badminton, dance, judo and gymnastics.

Our seasonal holiday camp is run by experienced leaders to help make the most of every child's day. Activities vary but kids will have huge fun taking part in games, sports, craft and drama. Keep the kids active and entertained and give yourself some peace of mind during the holidays.

There really is something for everyone at Drumbrae. We've recently installed new high-spec gym equipment to add to our range of cardio and strength building machines, free weights and gym accessories. As always our friendly, fitness team are here to answer any questions and help you get the most from your workout.

If you prefer group activities or sports, we have fitness classes suitable for all ages and fitness levels, adult and junior coaching sessions or hire a court or sports pitch.

When you're ready for some time-out, relax in our cafe serving delicious home baking, healthy snacks and drinks - and we can even take the stress out of party-planning with our birthday party packages.
