The Leith Victoria Baths were originally inaugurated in 1899 by Provost John Bennet, and we are proud to maintain their operation for the local community today.
With amenities ranging from a swimming pool, gym facilities, to a variety of popular fitness classes, Leith Victoria offers comprehensive health and fitness solutions, serving as a major hub for the Leith community.
Adult Swim Holiday Coaching Coming Soon!
Our adult swimming classes support beginners and improvers to build water confidence and develop swimming skills.
Sessions cover the basics of all four strokes, progressing to improved technique, efficiency and confidence swimming longer distances, including in deep water.

Facilities
The Leith Victoria Swim Centre’s pool provides sessions for various needs, including: casual swimming, lane swimming, family fun, and women-only swimming, along with sauna and steam room facilities.
The gym has been recently upgraded to include modern equipment and offers multiple gym classes each week. The venue has three studios that host various fitness classes throughout the week, including a dedicated cycle studio. Additionally, a swim coaching programme is available.

Leith Victoria Swim Centre is situated in the Leith area, northeast of Edinburgh city centre. There is a customer car park on Bonnington Road and limited car parking available near the venue. There is also an outdoor bike rack on site.
Public transport options include Lothian Buses routes 7, 10, 14, 16, 17, 21, 25, 35, 36 and 49. Visitors can also take advantage of the tram which stops nearby.
