What's on at EICA:Ratho

Is your child is aged between 8-14 years old and interested in learning to climb? Our NICAS Program (National Indoor Climbing Award Schemes) introduces kids to all the essential skills they need to stay safe and enjoy themselves climbing. Following the national development structure for climbing, this is the perfect first step into the scene and covers skills such as teamwork, listening and communication, alongside other practical climbing skills.

Running for 5 consecutive days during the holidays you can book your kids in below.

We are delighted to announce that from the 1st August you will now be able to make individual bookings for up to four people on Start Ups at EICA!

Our adult start up sessions introduce you to the skills needed to climb safely on our top rope walls and belaying. We also cover safe use of auto belays and bouldering. No previous experience is needed for this 2 hour course where we’ll show you the ropes. You can book your spot in our sessions below.

For the last few months we have trialled keeping the climbing arena open until 10pm every Thursday to gauge interest in keeping the arena open later in the evenings. Due to interest in this we have now decided to stay open until 10pm every Thursday. So just come along and climb any Thursday evening and enjoy an extra hour!

We're delighted that from Monday 14th March confident and competent pay as you go climbing customers can once again simply drop in to climb and boulder -  you no longer need to book.

Also there are no session times, meaning you can come when you want and stay as long as you want within our opening hours. If you are a member you can simply go straight to the arena and use your card/fob at the arena gates to get in.

If you are with a non-member, they will have to pay for their visit at reception in order to climb/boulder.

Please note: A booking is still required for Clip n' Climb and for instructor led courses

Level up your climbing. Track all your climbs. Enter competitions. Compare against yourself, your friends or even the pros. Benchmark, train & improve using smart hangboards, custom workouts and training routines.
