Summer Holiday Climbing at EICA: Ratho
Is your child is aged between 8-14 years old and interested in learning to climb? Our NICAS Program (National Indoor Climbing Award Schemes) introduces kids to all the essential skills they need to stay safe and enjoy themselves climbing. Following the national development structure for climbing, this is the perfect first step into the scene and covers skills such as teamwork, listening and communication, alongside other practical climbing skills.
Running for 5 consecutive days during the holidays you can book your kids in below.

Adult Start Up Sessions
Our adult start up sessions introduce you to the skills needed to climb safely on our top rope walls and belaying. We also cover safe use of auto belays and bouldering. No previous experience is needed for this 2 hour course where we’ll show you the ropes. You can book your spot in our sessions below.

Climbing open until 10pm every Thursday

No booking required for Climb
Also there are no session times, meaning you can come when you want and stay as long as you want within our opening hours.If you are a member you can simply go straight to the arena and use your card/fob at the arena gates to get in.
If you are with a non-member, they will have to pay for their visit at reception in order to climb/boulder.
Please note: A booking is still required for Clip n' Climb and for instructor led courses

Griptonite: Level up you climbing
Level up your climbing. Track all your climbs. Enter competitions. Compare against yourself, your friends or even the pros. Benchmark, train & improve using smart hangboards, custom workouts and training routines.
Routesetters set routes and boulders and tag each route/boulder with appropriate coloured Smart tags.
Smart Tags are programmed to contain details of the route/boulder, Beta/Style/Line details/Setter details and the date the route is set climbers scan the tags before climbing to see route details or after climbing to log it as done.
Points are awarded for the leaderboard score. Be part of the climbing community!
