Is your child is aged between 8-14 years old and interested in learning to climb? Our NICAS Program (National Indoor Climbing Award Schemes) introduces kids to all the essential skills they need to stay safe and enjoy themselves climbing. Following the national development structure for climbing, this is the perfect first step into the scene and covers skills such as teamwork, listening and communication, alongside other practical climbing skills.

Running for 5 consecutive days during the holidays you can book your kids in below.

We are excited to be hosting the GB Climbing/BMC International Selection Event on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May at EICA. Stripping walls and routesetting in the Climbing Arena will begin on the competition and old competition wall from Wednesday 4th May and there will be limited access to those walls up to and including Sunday 15th May. The Boulder Room will also be unavailable at times on the Saturday and Sunday. We will still be open as normal with no impact to any other activities or services but please be aware that the arena and parking may be busier than usual. Why not enjoy trying international competition standard routes after the event!

For the last few months we have trialled keeping the climbing arena open until 10pm every Thursday to gauge interest in keeping the arena open later in the evenings. Due to interest in this we have now decided to stay open until 10pm every Thursday. So just come along and climb any Thursday evening and enjoy an extra hour!

We're delighted that from Monday 14th March confident and competent pay as you go climbing customers can once again simply drop in to climb and boulder -  you no longer need to book.

Also there are no session times, meaning you can come when you want and stay as long as you want within our opening hours. If you are a member you can simply go straight to the arena and use your card/fob at the arena gates to get in.

If you are with a non-member, they will have to pay for their visit at reception in order to climb/boulder.

Please note: A booking is still required for Clip n' Climb and for instructor led courses

Level up your climbing. Track all your climbs. Enter competitions. Compare against yourself, your friends or even the pros. Benchmark, train & improve using smart hangboards, custom workouts and training routines.

Routesetters set routes and boulders and tag each route/boulder with appropriate coloured Smart tags.

Smart Tags are programmed to contain details of the route/boulder, Beta/Style/Line details/Setter details and the date the route is set climbers scan the tags before climbing to see route details or after climbing to log it as done.

Points are awarded for the leaderboard score. Be part of the climbing community!
