Arena Routesetting Disruption

EICA:Ratho will be hosting a series of Climb Scotland events Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September. During these events the competition walls will not be open to public, and access to the tower top ropes will also be limited. The rest of the climbing walls and EICA:Ratho facilities will be open as usual though. In preparation for and after these events there will be route setting in the arena which will restrict climbing in the arena on the competition walls and tower top rope lines from Monday 2nd September up to Monday 16th September. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

Edinburgh International Climbing Arena

At EICA: Ratho, you can challenge yourself on hundreds of climbing routes, tackle boulders both in the arena and a dedicated boulder room, or jump into a vertical playground at Clip ‘n Climb – a beginner-friendly set of 15 climbing elements for ages four and above.

We’re not all ropes and rocks, too. Take the kids on a whirlwind day out where they can climb into the Scrambles soft play area. Or, if you want to get down to business, we’ve also got conference facilities for board meetings and a hireable reception room with views second to none. To get a feel for what we offer, take a look at our facilities

Are you scaling the heights on a pay-and-play basis? If so, we’ve got the perfect card for you! Our Climb Loyalty Card allows you to collect points every time you climb with us, then redeem them for free climbs!

Get your card online now or ask for one at reception next time you’re in.
