Opening Hours & How to Get Here

Sat just to the west of Edinburgh, we're easily accessible whether you're travelling by car, public transport, bicycle or foot. Here's when we're open and how to get here.

The venue is open 7 days a week at 9am except Wednesdays, where we open at 10am. The Gym opens at 9am (10am Wednesdays), with Scrambles Soft Play and the Café available from 9:15am (10am Wednesdays). However, the Climbing Arena opens at 10am (9am weekends). See below for full opening hours.  

Please note: All facilities in EICA are closed for staff training every Wednesday from 09:00 to 10:00.

Staff training takes place every Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:00 resulting in all areas of EICA being closed for this hour.

  •   By Bus: Services by Lothian Country Bus 70 which run from the Gyle Centre to Hermiston Park and Ride. Please get off at the Canal Centre bus stop (then cross the bridge and walk 1 mile along the north side of the canal NCR754) Bus connections to Edinburgh City Centre are available from both the Gyle Centre and Hermiston Park and Ride
  •   By Bike: Cycle along NCR754 passing the union canal from Edinburgh and West Lothian. Bike racks are available on-site by the main entrance.
  •   By Car: Please follow the What3Words website, as some GPS devices do not take you to the correct place when inserting the postcode. We have a large FREE customers car park with accessible parking available on site. The closest EV charging point is PodPoint Charging Station, which is situated within 29 minutes by foot via B7030 and NCR754.
