What is Clip n Climb?
Get ready for a thrilling adventure in a vertical playground! Clip n Climb offers fun, adventure and thrills for the whole family, set inside Europe’s largest climbing arena – EICA Ratho.
Clip n Climb will challenge your senses and stamina with different shapes, vibrant colours and variety of textures.
No two challenges are alike. Each of our climbing elements offer unique and extraordinary experiences – it’s impossible to be bored. And for those looking for continuous improvement, each challenge offers different levels of difficulty to push you even harder!
Challenge yourself or your family with 18 elements and 22 climbing routes, providing a range of features and levels suitable for children and adults. If you lose your balance, the auto-belay gently lowers you and you can climb again.
Don’t worry if you’ve never climbed before, Clip n Climb is suitable for beginners.
Tickets must be pre-booked online so book early and make sure you don’t miss out.

NICAS Clip
NICAS Clip aims to introduce new climbers, including young children, safely into the indoor climbing environment, develop their awareness of climbing movements, improve confidence, and create a pathway to additional climbing activities. It focuses on the safe use of auto belay facilities, fun experiences within climbing through gamification of sport, and the movement skills that underpin climbing techniques.
Edinburgh Leisure delivers the NICAS Clip Foundation Course at the EICA Ratho Clip n Climb centre.

Pricing
Please note that Clip ‘n Climb has limited floor space and we cannot guarantee entry without a ticket. The only way to secure your spot is to purchase your ticket in advance.
A small number of parent/guardian “Clippers” are permitted in each session to assist children. Priority is given to parents of the youngest participants and to those supporting children with additional needs.
