Indoor soft play fun at three venues across Edinburgh: Clambers, Scrambles and Tumbles

We have three incredible soft plays around the city: Clambers at the Royal Commonwealth Pool, Tumbles at Portobello and Scrambles at EICA Ratho.
Each of our unique soft play venues are open 7 days a week, offering wonderful adventures for kids aged 0 – 10 with designated baby, toddler and junior play areas.
Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes (90 minute sessions may not be available during busy spells or peak times) and there is no need to book.
Enjoy a coffee and a cake in our Café Refresh while your child plays freely in our securely gated area. We provide activities for everyone as they move through their lives. As a charitable trust, every penny goes back into taking care of the health and wellbeing of Edinburgh
Clambers Soft Play
Clambers had a brand new soft play frame installed in 2022, designed so parents can supervise easily and children can play freely all within a securely gated area. There are slides, an upper storey football pitch and many more exciting features to explore!
Scrambles Soft Play
Scrambles has a large, separate baby area, with standalone play frames for toddlers (18 months -3 years) and juniors (4 – 10yrs) that are easily viewed from our soft play café.
Tumbles Soft Play
Tumbles has distinct zones for babies, toddlers and juniors, providing children with an exciting range of features that will help develop their sense of balance, stimulate their minds and promote activity. And of course, it’s a whole lot of fun!
ASN Soft Play
ASN sessions are available Tuesdays 16.00 – 17.00 at the Royal Commonwealth Pool and are only open to children with additional support needs (ASN) to enable a comfortable, relaxed, and safe environment so that children who need additional support can learn and grow their confidence.

Soft Play Birthday Parties
Our soft play parties offer an exciting experience with multi-feature play areas, perfect for the little adventurers who like to explore and discover.
Each soft play venue has distinct baby, toddler and junior zones to ensure fun for all ages.
Enjoy an hour of soft play and finish the party in a dedicated room with some food and games.
Suitable for ages 0 – 10.
This party is available at Scrambles at EICA Ratho , Clambers at the Royal Commonwealth Pool and the newly renovated Tumbles at Portobello
Rules of Play
- Parents/guardians should monitor children in their care to ensure they do not exceed their capabilities whilst using our equipment.
- Children and adults are required to always wear socks in the soft play frame – socks can be purchased at soft play.
- No shoes are to be worn in the play frame.
- No climbing up the slides.
- Food and drink should be consumed at the tables and should not be taken into the play frame. We kindly ask you to clear your tables using the recycling bins provided.
- Only food and drink purchased from Café Refresh can be consumed in the venue.
- All personal items such as money should be left with parents or guardians. Keys and sharp objects should also be left to avoid injury or damage to equipment. Edinburgh Leisure does not accept responsibility for any loss of belongings at any time.
- All age restrictions for areas of the frame must be followed.
- If the soft play is full, customers will be added to a waiting list and called forward once space is available.
- Any behaviour deemed to be unsuitable towards Edinburgh Leisure staff or other customers will not be tolerated from adults or children. Customers should advise a member of staff if they witness any unsuitable behaviour who will endeavour to resolve the situation.
