Ainslie Park Leisure Centre has been keeping the community of north Edinburgh active for decades with something for everyone whether you’re looking to swim, hit the gym, get stuck into a fitness class or play a variety of sports.

Free 6-Month Casual Swimming Pass – Summer of Sport 2026

Thanks to Summer of Sport funding, children from 5 to 15 can enjoy 6 months of free casual swimming if their parent or guardian receives Universal Credit.

This subsidised coaching offer is available for 6 months from date of issue, helping more children stay active, build confidence and develop new skills throughout the school year. A limited number of passes are available so don’t wait!

Facilities

A full service venue – Ainslie Park is home to a fully equipped gym, 25m swimming pool, several Fitness Class Studios and a Sports Hall.

For the kids there are Family Fun Swim sessions as well as a wide range of coaching programmes.

The centre is easily accessible by public transport with free on-site car parking.
