Who we are
Edinburgh Leisure is a charity that is dedicated to making a positive difference to communities by creating opportunities for everyone to get active, stay active and achieve more. To do this we have 31 sports facilities city-wide that receive over 5 million customer visits per year from a wide mix of customers. As a charity all of the money raised is used to protect services and facilities. We also run around 20 ‘Active Community’ projects that use physical activity and sport to improve the lives of people affected by poverty, disabilities and health conditions.

EAE have leaflet racks in the majority of Edinburgh Leisure venues, showcasing all the great tourist and family attractions throughout Edinburgh, Fife and the Lothians.
Baillie Gifford, is a successful investment management firm with its head office in Edinburgh They have funded our ‘Jump In’ project. Their generous support means we can continue to run Jump In from January to November 2019 and help a further 320 pre-school children from some of Edinburgh’s most deprived areas – giving them the opportunity to learn how to swim. Baillie Gifford want to help make Edinburgh a great place to live, work and visit - we’re very proud to help them do that.
