Liberton High School is the latest addition to Edinburgh Leisure’s network of venues, giving the local community access to a brand-new public gym in the south of the city outside school hours.
Opening to the public on Monday 17 August 2026, the gym is available during term time, seven days a week, on a Pay as You Go basis. Delivered in partnership with Liberton High School, the facility offers a convenient new option for people looking to build fitness, stay active and access quality gym provision locally.
Please note that access to the gym is via Pay as You Go only – the facility is NOT included in any Edinburgh Leisure membership.
Junior Gym Visits
Please note, that as the gym has no gym instructors on duty, there is no junior access available for under 16s. Visitors to the gym must be 16 years of age or older.
