Carrick Knowe is a mature parkland golf course and each hole is beautifully framed by a variety of trees, set in the shadow of the famous Murrayfield Stadium with Edinburgh Castle as a grand backdrop. The gentle contours make this an easy course to walk which is suitable for golfers of all abilities.
The golf course has undergone some changes on the front nine holes to meet with USGA specifications giving a great contrast between old and new. Be careful of those strategically placed bunkers which can present even the most experienced of golfers a challenge.

Prices
Please note Edinburgh Leisure operates in a cashless environment. We accept card and contactless payments only; no cash. Prices correct as of 1st April 2026.
Members can play with up to 3 guests at any of our golf courses. A ‘Guest Rate’ is available of £17.50 per guest for 18 holes and £10.50 per guest for 9 holes.
Guest rates cannot be pre-booked and are available all day every day as walk in only.
Facilities
Carrick Knowe Hills has a free car park available for visitors, on-site toilets and vending machines for drinks and snacks.
Equipment hire is available for Clubs, Trolleys and Buggies. Balls, Tees and Gloves are also available to purchase.
Equipment will only be available to hire up to 4 hours before last tee time for 18 holes and 2 hours for 9 holes.
