The Kiltwalk is Scotland’s largest mass participation walking event, with more than 216,000 people taking part since 2016.
Whether you’re a returning walker or stepping up for the first time, we’d love to have you on Team Ageing Well. Expect community spirit, tartan, and a day you’ll remember.

We ask you to commit to raising a minimum of £100 for the Mighty Stride or Big Stroll, or £50 for the Wee Wander.

Why Fundraise for Ageing Well?
Ageing Well is Edinburgh Leisure’s project dedicated to helping older adults across the city stay active, connected and independent. By fundraising through the Kiltwalk, you’ll be supporting a wide range of activities delivered by a passionate team and committed volunteers, all working to reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing and create meaningful social connections. Every step you take helps ensure this vital, life-changing work can continue for the thousands of older people in Edinburgh who face barriers to getting active.
In return, you’ll become part of a supportive team of fundraisers united in raising vital funds for Ageing Well. You’ll receive guidance throughout your fundraising journey, with helpful tips, encouragement and support to set up and run your fundraising page successfully. All fundraisers will be provided with Edinburgh Leisure branded activewear, including a Team Ageing Well t-shirt to wear on the day and a tartan-themed snood. On event day, our cheer squad will be positioned along the route to cheer you on as you pass.
