A new direct bus service connecting Edinburgh city centre with the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena (EICA Ratho) is now running!
Visitors to EICA Ratho will now be able to access the venue via public transport for the first time – following years of campaigning for a direct link with the city of Edinburgh and the village of Ratho.
The new bus will run between EICA and Edinburgh City Centre with stops at Haymarket Station, Hermiston Gait and Ratho village.
Service 67 will initially operate as a six-month trial, with the aim of establishing a permanent service.
The success of the trial will depend on passenger use, so please support the service whenever you can.
The Route
The 67 bus service will run hourly between EICA Ratho and Waterloo Place in central Edinburgh.

The bus will stop at the following locations enroute
- EICA Ratho
- Lost Shore coach park
- Ratho Village
- Hermison Gait Park and Ride
- Haymarket Station (Stop HB)
- Edinburgh City Centre (George Street initially instead of Waterloo Place while works are ongoing)
Service 67 will initially operate as a limited-stop route to protect journey times and help the bus run reliably.
Timetable
Monday to Friday
Services will depart EICA hourly from 7.30am to 5.30pm and from Edinburgh City Centre hourly from 8.30am to 6.30pm
Saturday and Sunday (COMING SOON)

Fares and Tickets
An adult single journey will cost £2.40. There will be no return or day ticket available, each journey will be charged separately. Eligible National Entitlement Cards will be accepted.
Cash and card payments will be available. If paying cash, no change will be given.
