Sauna and steam room
Relax in our spa facilities, with saunas and steam rooms across Edinburgh.
Soothe your muscles after a workout or just find a place to unwind. Our spa facilities will relax your mind and body which can have a beneficial effect on your sleep and help to alleviate any aches and pains. Taking some regular time out can improve your mental and physical wellbeing.
There are 8 saunas in Edinburgh Leisure venues across the city and 5 steam rooms.
You cannot pre-book your sauna/steam room session before arriving, it can only be purchased in venue. Visits can be purchased as a sole activity or as an add-on to a swim visit.
Visitors must be 16 years or older to use the sauna.

Where can I find a sauna or steam room?
Sauna and steam room: Ainslie Park Leisure Centre, Glenogle Swim Centre, Leith Victoria Swim Centre, Queensferry High School.
Sauna: Dalry Swim Centre, Drumbrae Leisure Centre, Gracemount Leisure Centre and Warrender Swim Centre.
Steam room and Turkish Bath: Portobello Swim Centre.

Our sauna and steam room facilities are unavailable at certain times as a result of lessons or club pool use. Please find below details of when the facilities are open. Please note Leith Victoria sessions from 15.00-16.00 on Saturdays are women-only.
