RLSS UK’s Rookie Lifeguard Programme teaches children how to enjoy water safety, whether in shallow or deeper water.
With colourful materials and fun, varied activities, the Rookie Lifeguard scheme teaches children how to swim and enjoy the water safely, whether in shallow or deeper water. They will be introduced to valuable lifesaving skills such as basic rescues, recognise hazards, and staying safe in, on, and around water.
This class is best suited for children who are 8+ and confident in deep water and tread water for 30 seconds or more. Demonstrate good technique over 50 meters in Front crawl, Back crawl, and Breaststroke.
