Ready to take your climbing beyond the wall? These action packed sessions at EICA offers the perfect introduction to outdoor crag climbing. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, you will gain hands-on experience on real rock.
Courses are available as a 4 hour half day session or 7 hour full day session.
What’s Included?
- Expert instruction from qualified climbing instructors
- Transportation to and from EICA to the climbing location
- All necessary climbing equipment is provided, although we encourage you to bring your own climbing shoes, harness and helmet if you can

Course Details
Crag climbing: Discover the unique joys and challenges of outdoor climbing whilst learning how to climb on real rock faces.
Leader placed protection: Understand the basics of traditional climbing protection as your instructor demonstrates the use of specialised gear such as cams and wires.
Safety Skills: Focus on safety protocols specific to the outdoor environment.
Who’s it for?
Indoor climbers who can climb independently, and are eager to discover the thrill of outdoor climbing.
Duration
Half day sessions are four hours, a full day session is 7 hours.
Location
We will travel to a local crag near EICA. The exact location is subject to weather conditions to ensure the best experience, and your safety.
Age Requirement
Participants must be 14 years or older. Any participant under 18 years must be accompanied by a participating adult.
