Bumps and Babies
Controlled exercise can help women prepare for or recover from the physical demands of birth. That's why we're delighted to introduce you to the latest additions to our fitness class timetable: Bumps and Babies!
These pre and postnatal classes are all about nurturing the well-being of the mother, whether they are pregnant or have recently given birth. Led by instructors who are experts in each trimester as well as the postnatal phase, these classes provide a safe, comfortable and secure environment for exercise.
All classes at Drumbrae and Glenogle are FREE until 10th November, so book your first class today!
More classes will be starting at Craiglockhart Leisure Centre on Monday 18th November and are now available to book.

This class uses relaxation and breathing techniques with postures that are adapted for pregnancy. Yoga has been shown to reduce anxiety and to help women stay calm in pregnancy and labour. It can also improve your sleep.

Mum and Baby Yoga
A great way to strengthen and nurture yourself after your child's birth and take time out for yourself in the company of your little one. It incorporates stretches and yoga poses for your baby followed by breath relaxation techniques and focused yoga postures for yourself whilst interacting with your baby.

Glenogle Swim Centre Mondays 14:00 - 15:15 and Fridays 14:30 - 15:15
A class that focuses on balance, strength and coordination. It works on keeping the muscles throughout the body strong and connected to the core, reducing pregnancy aches and pains and speeding up postnatal recovery.

Bumps and Babies
This class combines gentle cardio and conditioning exercises to help you either maintain exercise in pregnancy or return after birth. This class is suitable for customers in their 2nd or 3rd trimester or returning after their 6-week midwife check (12 weeks following a C-section). Your new bundle of joy is welcome to come along and join in on the fun too!
