Want to do more exercise? Ever fancied getting outside and going for a run? Not sure where to start?
Well, we’ve got the answer. Edinburgh Leisure is launching a network of jogging groups across the city aimed at getting you active. Each group is geared up for beginners and is led by a qualified JogScotland Jog Leader, who will help you build up your fitness level and running ability to achieve your own personal goals. Whether you want to lose weight, build up to a 10k race or simply want to start a new hobby and meet new friends, we can help you achieve it.
Groups take place at the following venues and times:
- Gracemount Leisure Centre every Thursday morning at 10am, and Thursday evening from 6.30pm - joggers should meet in reception.
- Warrender Swim Centre every Wednesday evening from 7pm – meet in reception (starts July 7th).
- Leith Victoria Swim Centre – coming soon!
The sessions are free for Edinburgh Leisure fitness members, £1.75 for Leisure Card holders, and £2 for anyone else.
