The school holidays are nearly here. That s right, every school holiday is a distant memory and the fun is about to begin. Well it certainly will with Edinburgh Leisure. We have got so much going on for children over the February, Easter, Summer, October and December school holidays, it will make their heads spin.

All our camps are run by our ever happy, enthusiastic Activator team who are always thinking of new ways to have a blast. They are all qualified and experienced in dealing with children and receive regular professional training.

What types of camps are on offer?

Activator (age 5-12yrs)
Available at 7 of our venues across the City, Activator camps are jam packed with exciting activities for 5-12 year olds. They can enjoy arts and crafts, bouncy castles, a whole range of sporting activities from swimming to football, badminton to tennis, play stations, discos,internet cafes, team games, quizzes and much more. We also have a host of visits from special guests including the bird of prey sanctuary, the Fire Brigade and our very own Edinburgh International Climbing Arena.

Multi-sport (age 9-14yrs)
We would like to introduce our new Multi-sports camp. This camp is for those kids that love all things sport, and don’t want to choose just one. These camps provide coaching over a range of diff erent sports, such as, tennis, kayaking, judo, squash, trampolining as well as some really cool fitness classes. Not only will they be doing the sports they love, but also get to try some new ones too.

Aquavator* (age 8-14yrs)
This camp off ers children the chance to have a go at loads of different water-based activities. From snorkelling to aqua jetting to raft races and rookie life guarding, they will have a blast meeting new friends and finding out about all they can enjoy in the water.

Sports camps and sessions (age 5-16yrs)
For budding young sports stars we have sports specific camps and sports specific sessions available. With so many venues and so many sports they will be spoilt for choice. Tennis at Craiglockhart, gymnastics at Ainslie Park, swimming at Portobello, the list goes on, and on and on.
