Craiglockhart Tennis Centre, is located just next door to Craiglockhart Sports Centre. This superb tennis facility has:
6 indoor acrylic tennis courts (available all year round)
8 outdoor clay tennis courts (available from April to October)
3 under cover clay courts* (available from October to April)

*October 2006 saw the addition of a new Tennis Dome facility, which covers three of our outdoor clay courts, to ensure they can be used all year round!

Centre Facilities
The centre has full changing and showering facilities, and it is adviseable that customers bring a change of footwear if playing on the clay courts. If you forget your racket or tennis basll, not to worry the centre has a racket hire service and tennis balls for sale. A small cafe with limited opening hours operates in the centre, so if you'd like some refreshment after your game the cafe staff can provide you with a welcome treat.

The centre is open during the following hours:
Monday - Friday 09.00 - 22.30
Saturday - Sunday 09.00 - 22.00

Coaching Programmes
Craiglockhart offers a comprehensive coaching programme for both adults and juniors, from absolute beginner right through to National playing levels. Coaching courses are aimed at developing individual playing skills and can be delivered in groups with participants of similar playing standards, or on an individual basis, which ever option suits you best. The centre also run group practice sessions which are aimed at individuals who want to develop their game with other like minded participants.

The coaching team who deliver all the programmes are all fully qualified to Lawn Tennis Association standards or International equivalents, and are fully committed to delivering a quality coaching experience to all participants.
