Edinburgh Leisure offers a choice of 6 courses across the city. Our courses are based at Braid Hills, Silverknowes, Carrick Knowe, Craigentinny, the Princes and Portobello. Ranging from the challenging layout and breathtaking views at the Braid Hills, to the shorter, less demanding 9-hole course at Portobello, we have a course to suit all ages and abilities.

The Princes 9-hole golf course was designed specifically for juniors and people just taking up the game. It is situated on the Braid Hills with commanding views over the Capital, and provides an hour of great golf.

Another benefit of our courses is that you don’t have to be a member to play.

We operate a booking service that allows any member of the public to pre book up to one year in advance.

You don’t need to have an official golf handicap and we can provide golf clubs and pull-trolleys for hire. Golfing accessories are available to purchase at all of our courses.
