Are you spending too much time indoors? Is cabin fever setting in?
Well then it’s time to get into the great outdoors. And what better way than on some of the most picturesque golf courses in the capital? But before you do that, you might need some help to get started!
At Edinburgh Leisure, we have a wide range of lessons to suit everyone, from complete beginners, to established golfers looking to turn bogies into birdies. We also have specific classes for women only, juniors, and parent and child.
So forget all the stuffy nonsense that you might think about golf – we’re breaking the rules and opening our courses to the masses.
Go back to school
From April to October, all of our lessons are based at our golf school at Craigentinny Golf Course (just off Seafield Road), and are run by a PGA professional coach. With the help of our trusty computerised swing analysis, we’ll give you the skills you need to get the most from your time on the fairways.
Lessons are given in blocks split over four weeks, to ensure you get the most from your time with us. Prices start from less than £16 per week, and discounts are available for Leisure Card holders and fitness, swim and climb members.
Why not give it a try?
Whatever your age or ability, golf is a great way of getting some exercise in the fresh air, and with four 18 hole and two 9 hole courses, we have plenty of courses for you to practice on.

Do I need my own clubs to take part?
If you have your own clubs bring them along and take the opportunity to get used to them, however, if you don’t have your own equipment or it’s a hassle bringing them along we have all the equipment you need.
