Please click on the link below for all programme details

The swimming pool remains closed - see below for details. We are very sorry that we have had to close the pool facility but we are working hard to make sure it re-opens as soon as possible. Here is a short summary of everything you might want to know to help you stay active and healthy;
Why is Warrender Swim Centre pool closed? At 3pm on Thursday 5th November 2009, a swimming customer at Warrender Swim Centre was hit with glass due to a glazing fault, resulting in an injury to his arm and requiring the closure of the centre as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of our customers.
How did Edinburgh Leisure respond? Staff at Warrender Swim Centre responded promptly to the incident, ensuring that the customer received the appropriate medical attention and evacuated the pool hall immediately. The gym facility was also closed as a precautionary measure but re-opened on 7th December.
Following closure of the venue, an investigation on the cause of the glazing fault was launched. The Health and Safety Executive was immediately informed and are satisfied with our course of action.
Edinburgh Leisure is currently working closely with The City of Edinburgh Council to ensure your centre is ready to re-open as soon as possible.
What impact will this have on customers?
Swim Lesson Customers will be contacted by a member of the Warrender team to advise them of temporary alternative options which will be available to them at other swimming pools nearby. We have been able to relocate the majority of our swim lesson programme to nearby James Gillespie’s High School and Bruntsfield Primary School.
Casual Swim Customers are encouraged to use alternative facilities at nearby Dalry Swim Centre or Gracemount Leisure Centre.
When will everything be back to normal? Warrender Swim Centre Gym re-opened on 7th December 09. It is, as yet, unknown what date we anticipate the re-opening of Warrender Swim Centre Pool Hall but rest assured, we are taking all steps possible to ensure that the disruption to customers is minimised and the centre is back to normal working hours as soon as possible.
Please keep an eye on this site for up-to-date information on swim lesson relocation. However, if you have not been contacted by the Warrender team so far please call 0131 447 0052 and we will be able to help relocate your lesson.
Thank you to all of our customers for your patience and understanding.
