Port Edgar is a major watersports complex and marina situated on the Firth of Forth just west of the famous Forth Bridge, on the outskirts of the historic burgh of South Queensferry.

The Firth of Forth is an excellent area for sailing and kayaking, and Port Edgar Marina provides a safe, sheltered area for children and beginners. Statistically it is an area with low rainfall, moderate winds and no midges!

In addition to watersports the complex also has its own mountain-bike trails, indoor archery, orienteering course and superb beaches and islands nearby.

There is a variety of courses available for the novice sailor or canoeist and a wide range of options for the intermediate and advanced sailor as well as junior multi activity courses.

Based on the Firth of Forth this is an excellent area for learning to sail with some of the most spectacular scenery.

Port Edgar marina has over 300 berths and the sailing school has a large fleet hire available to those who are qualified.
