Carrick Knowe Golf Course
This par 70, mature parkland golf course is set within the heart of the City. Surrounded by mature trees and the new USGA specification greens provide a contrast with the original greens on the back 9. The course is designed to have returning 9 holes, and is perfect for those short of time. The par 4, 373 yard 2nd demands accuracy from the tee to a landing area in front of two punishing bunkers. Your second shot carries guarding bunkers to the green.
The short par 3 15th requires a steely nerve – to attack the green and avoid pulling your drive to a series of lateral bunkers to the left.
