Private Tuition

Want to develop your skills quickly? Speak to one of our instructors about private tuition. At only £25.00 per hour you’ll get one to one instruction, and if you don’t have your own boat, we’ll also provide reduced hire rates.

Hire

Session times:
Mon–Fri:
10:00–12:00 (by appointment only)
13:00–17:00 (by appointment only)
18:30–20:30
Sat–Sun:
10:00–12:00
13:00–17:00

Conditions of hire:
1. Boats will only be hired to sailors with sufficient experience and ability to control them safely. Minimum standard required is RYA Level 2 or equivalent experience. If hirers are seen to be sailing in an unsafe or unseamanlike manner then the session may be terminated immediately without refund.
2. Hirers must stay within the sailing area designated at the start of the session.
3. Buoyancy aids are included in all hire sessions and must be worn correctly at all times when afloat.
4. All charges shown are per boat, not per person.
5. The normal hire period is 2 hours. It may be possible to vary this at certain times. Hire of buoyancy aids or wetsuits for non Sailing School activities can be arranged through the Marina office at £4 per buoyancy aid and £5 per wetsuit for two hours.
