If you're interested in getting some outdoor exercise in a relaxed fun social setting, then our walking groups are perfect. Below are details of the options available.

Happy Wanderers – Tuesday Morning

Time: Meet for 10.00am for a 10.15am start.

Meeting Points: Various bus stops on – Elm Row, North Bridge, London Road.

Tuesday Night Strollers – Tuesday Evening

Time: Meet at 7.00pm for a 7.15pm start.

Meeting Points: Braids Hill Hotel-Buckstone Bistro; The Royal Commonwealth Pool; Oxgangs Library; St Andrews Square Gardens; Craiglockhart Tennis Centre; Morningside Road; Cameron Toll.

First Steps Health Walks- Thursday Morning

Time: Meet at 10am for a 10.15am start.

Meeting Points: Various bus stops – Elm Row, Ocean Terminal, Waterloo Place, London Road.

Get Going Health Walks – Thursday Morning

Time: Meet for 10.00am for a 10.15am start.

Meeting Points: Oxgangs Library; Water of Leith Heritage Centre; The Open Door Café; Saughton Winter Gardens; Craiglockhart Tennis Centre; Camerontoll Shopping Centre; West Register House.

Saturday Morning Strollers – Saturday Morning

Time: Meet for 10.00am for a 10.15am start.

Meeting Points: Oxgangs Library; Craiglockhart Tennis Centre; The Royal Commonwealth Pool; St Andrews Square Gardens; Morningside Road.

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing for the weather. NB flat, sturdy footwear is a must! Please bring your bus pass or money to purchase a ticket. There is usually a stop for refreshments during or after each walk (optional). As these are health walks it would be appreciated if walkers wound refrain from smoking during the walks.
