Q: What alternative Edinburgh Leisure Gym’s can I use during the closure?
A: As the RCP closes, Craiglockhart Leisure Centre is due to reopen after an extensive refurbishment and will boast a new fantastic gym with 70 pieces of equipment. We are also putting extra pieces of equipment into Meadowbank Sports Centre and have fourteen superb gyms across the city; take a look at the table on pages 14 and 15 to see a full list of alternatives.
Q: What will happen to my programme card?
A: You can collect your programme card from your gym instructor at the RCP and take it with you to your alternative Edinburgh Leisure Gym. Why not ask for it to be updated at your new gym and have a fresh new start!
Q: Where can I go for an early morning workout?
A: Your nearest alternative to the RCP is the Crags Sports Centre, however please see a list of extended venue opening times on page 12.
Fitness Classes
Q: Where can I do my classes once the RCP closes?
A: We have relocated the majority of your favorite classes to Craiglockhart Leisure Centre and Meadowbank Sports Centre. Please pick up a ‘Fitness Class Relocation’ leaflet from the RCP reception. We also have a great selection on fitness classes available at other Edinburgh Leisure venues across the city; details are listed in the fitness class time table.
Q: Where can I do ‘Get up and Go’ fitness classes during the closure?
A: Get up and go classes are offered at ten other Edinburgh Leisure venues. Again please take a look at fitness class time table.
