Junior lessons
Below is a brief guide to our junior golf lessons. All our golf lessons take place at our custom built coaching school at Craigentinny Golf Course and are led by a PGA Professional Coach.
Junior courses are open to children between the ages of 6 and 17 years.
The ‘Junior’ tee: The ultimate beginners course for juniors. Under the guidance of a PGA Professional Coach they will learn the basics of the game in a fun and friendly environment alongside other juniors. The coach will help them to build a golf swing and introduce them to the fundamentals of golf. They will gain a basic understanding of etiquette and this introduction to the game will incorporate lots of fun challenges and scoring games.
The 'Birdie' tee: Now that they have grasped the basics the coach will mould their golf swing by providing them with a more in depth understanding of the fundamentals. This course will help them to become more consistent in their swing resulting in improved accuracy and increased confidence. The kids will again take part in fun games and challenges throughout the 6 weeks and will be given the opportunity to put their learning into practice out on the golf course.
