![]() About Us Edinburgh Leisure's Community Access Programme is designed to support community groups working with people facing disadvantages. It encourages people to start doing some physical activity through making more and better use of Edinburgh Leisure facilities - and at an affordable price. The project works with registered charities based in Edinburgh who want to increase the amount of physical activity that their service users participate in. Organisations affiliate to the programme through a £20 annual membership fee. Organisations will nominate up to 8 members of staff to receive CAP cards to support group access to swimming, footballs and racket sports. Organisations will also be able to refer individual service users to the scheme and get access to the CAP subsidy. This scheme enables access to Edinburgh Leisure. This includes 13 gyms, 9 swimming pools, and a broad and diverse range of fitness classes across the city. It also provide subsidised off peak access to court space so that groups can take part in racquet sports or score a game of 5-a-side football or basketball at one of our indoor or outdoor courts. Contact James Brandon, our Community Inclusion Officer, on 0131 458 2167 to discuss your application or request an information pack. We look forward to working with you to help your service users lead a healthier lifestyle through becoming more active, more often with Edinburgh Leisure.
