The Royal Commonwealth Pool (RCP) has now closed its doors.

Fear not though, the closure is to allow the City of Edinburgh Council to completely refurbish the venue before a whole new period of RCP’s life can begin. At this point the refurbishment is expected to take 2 years but we’ll keep you informed of this throughout the build period.

• The new RCP will offer you enhanced and improved facilities to enjoy including:-
• New 25m teaching pool with a moveable floor
• Improved 50m pool that can be split by a boom into two 25m pools
• New 25m diving pool with a moveable floor
• New dry land training area for divers
• Larger gym with three fitness studios/activity areas
• New changing village including a family changing area
• New reception area and cafe
• New children’s play area complete with a party room
• New multi purpose rooms
