Gym Nippers
Q:What age can my child start lessons? Your child can start the parent and toddler class once they turn 18 months – they attend this class with their parent or guardian. For the pre-school class children attend once they turn 3 years old.
Q: What are the benefits of gym nippers? Gym nippers is a great way to introduce your little one to a fit and healthy lifestyle. The classes help to develop self confidence, social skills, gross and fine motor skill in a safe and fun environment.
Q: What do they need to bring / wear? You should insure your child is dressed comfortably for the session with no denim or skirts. Leggings, tracksuit bottoms, t-shirts and leotards are all acceptable. Please ensure hair is tied back and we recommend you bring some water.
Q: What are the term dates? Gym nippers runs on a termly basis which is parallel to the schools term time dates.
Q: How long does a term last? Depending on which term your child joins, these can last anything between 8 and 12 weeks.
Q: Do I need to stay with my child? For the parent and toddler class Yes. This class is not only about your child development but also helps build the relationship and bond between the child and parent. For the pre-school (3-5yrs) class parents are asked to leave the child however you must stay within the centre just in case you are needed.
Q: How much does it cost? For a 45 minute gym nippers session it costs £4.40 which will be paid in a block booking at the start of the term.
Q: Do I need to book? This depends on which venue you attend, some are block booking only, some are pay as you go and some venues offer both options. It is advised that you contact the most convenient venue to avoid disappointment.
