You may be surprised to learn that volleyball is one of the most popular sports in the world today, mainly thanks to it's success in Asia and South America. Such is it's popularity volleyball is now played in almost 220 countries around the world.

Based at Ainslie Park Leisure Centre, Edinburgh Leisure are now offering introductory sessions for children of all abilities (beginners or previous players), which will cover all the basics of volleyball and will concentrate on an enjoyable introduction to the sport.

Every Thursday from:

4 to 5pm: 8-10 years old

5 to 6pm: 11-12 years old

First session Thursday 25 October 2007

However, ahead of this we are offering an introductory taster session (£3.50 each) on 11 October 2007 from 4 to 5pm (8-10 years) and 5 to 6pm (11-12 years).
