Diving
It's wet and wild time at The Royal Commonwealth Pool. If they enjoy swimming, but want a new challenge then why not give diving a go? There is loads of fun to be had at our Easter and Summer camps whether they are a first time diver or have been before.
What are diving camps? The camps run for 2 hours. The first hour involves a bit of practice on dry land, which helps the children get used to the movements required for diving. The second hour consists of improving water confidence, some poolside diving, progressing to diving from the boards. On the last day of camp there willl be loads of fun competitions, with loads of prizes up for grabs.
The camps are suitable for all children up to the age of 16 as long as they can swim 15m without buoyancy aids and can submerge under water without goggles. They should bring shorts and t shirts for the dry land training, a spare towel and plenty to drink.
