No, not listening. There’s no way anyone will be bored over the holidays with Edinburgh Leisure. At our Activator camps there’s so much to do they wont want the holidays to end.

What is Activator?
Available at seven of our venues right across the city, activator camps are jam packed with loads of exciting activities for everyone from 5-12 years old. They can enjoy arts and crafts, bouncy castles, a whole range of sporting activities from swimming to badminton to playstations, discos, quizzes and much, much more. We also have a host of visits from special guests including the bird of prey sanctuary, the fire brigade and the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena.

My child has additional support needs, can they still come?
Yes, children who have additional support needs are welcome at our Holiday Camps, however dependant on their individual needs places may be limited. Enquiries regarding availability should be made at the centre of your choice.

Do they need to bring anything with them?
Yes, all children should bring plenty to drink, a mid morning snack and a packed lunch. During the summer months please also encourage your children to bring sun lotion and a hat for outdoor activities. Swimwear will also be required for water activities.

Are there discounts available?
Yes, discounts are available for parents/guardians receiving working tax credit to help with the cost of registered or approved childcare. Please contact the Inland Revenue Tax Credit Helpline on 0845 300 3900 and ask your centre for their registration number.

Edinburgh Leisure also offers concessionary prices to people in receipt of income support, working tax credit, bereavement allowance, widowed parents allowance, carer’s allowance, disability living allowance and incapacity benefits.

What time do I drop off and pick up my child?
We offer an early drop-off and late pick-up facility to ensure the camps suit most working timescales. Please see table below.

With so much going on for children over the February, Easter, Summer, October and December school holidays, we want to make sure you don’t miss out on any of our Activator camps. So, to make it easy for you we’ve listed all the dates below and along with the venues hosting them.
