General Marina Information
Clothing
In addition to buoyancy aids, students on courses are provided with waterproofs, or wetsuits when appropriate at no extra cost. All customers should bring a change of warm clothing, towel and soft-soled footwear (gym shoes or soft sailing wellies).
Applications are welcome from any organisation or group wishing to make special arrangement for instruction or hire. Minimum group size is usually three persons. Contact the Sailing School Principal to discuss your requirements.
Private Instruction and Own-Boat Tuition
For customers unable to join a scheduled course, or who have their own boat, we can offer a private instruction service. This can be at any level of competence, or for any specialist skills, and could include the correct setting up and rigging of any boat. Advance booking of at least 48 hours is required. We regret that this service is sometimes not available at weekends.
Gift Vouchers can be purchased at any time of the year and could cover all or part of a course fee or hire charge. They are valid for one year from date of purchase and make a superb gift for a watersports enthusiast, and are ideal Birthday or Christmas presents.
