The M8, M9 and M90 motorways are close by. The Forth Road Bridge is signposted throughout Central Scotland. From the roundabout at the south end of the Bridge descend into South Queensferry, and follow Shore Road westwards to Port Edgar.

From Waterloo Place / Princes Street / Queensferry Street in Central Edinburgh, buses leave every 20 minutes for South Queensferry. Port Edgar is 20 minutes walk from Dalmeny Station, for trains on the Edinburgh Waverley to Fife line.
