Q: Do you provide swimming lessons?
A: Yes. A comprehensive range of lessons are available for children and adults of all ages and abilities. Check out the lessons available for children by clicking here and the lessons for adults by clicking here.

Q: What are your swimming guidelines for children?
A: Guidelines for all Edinburgh Leisure swimming pools (except Leith Waterworld):

• Children aged nine years and over can enter an Edinburgh Leisure swimming pool unaccompanied.
• There must be at least one adult in the water supervising two children of four years and under.
• There must be at least one adult in the water supervising four children aged between five and eight years.

Guidelines for Leith Waterworld:

• There are different guidelines in placedue to a number of flumes and features.
• Children aged nine years and over can enter Leith Waterworld unaccompanied.
• There must be at least one adult in the water supervising one child of four years and under.
• There must be at least one adult in the water supervising two children aged five to eight years.
  

Q: Do you offer free swimming for children?
A: Edinburgh Leisure offer free swimming at all facilities for Under 5's, and offer free swimming for all primary school children at all swimming facilities except Leith Waterworld.

Q: Do you have any special offers for senior citizens?
A: If you have a 60+ Leisure Card you can swim at any time, any day, in any Edinburgh Leisure Pool for only £1.20.
