Picture a day of sunshine with calm water and the imposing figure of the Forth Bridge looming off to the right. Smell the fresh sea air sweep into the Forth estuary and prepare to sail off into the sunset. That day can be today at Port Edgar Marina & Sailing School. This large water sports centre and marina based on the Firth of Forth is an excellent area for learning to sail with some of the most spectacular scenery both natural and man-made.
It is the largest and most active water sports centre in Scotland, with a wide variety of sailing, power boating, kayaking, and multi-activity courses from April to October. The Marina is open every day and offers activities for all ages and abilities.
