The RYA shore-based courses we run at Port Edgar are a great way to learn new skills, and to ensure that thrills at sea don’t turn into spills.

Our shore-based courses cover a wide range of skills, from first aid, to diesel engine maintenance, to sea survival and safety. Short-range, GPS and radar courses will keep you up to date with the latest technology for pleasure craft. And even if you have the technology already, they could help you use it more effectively. Our navigation courses will get you where you want to be – whether you’re a would-be transatlantic sailor, powerboat skipper, deep sea diver or angler, or dinghy sailor. Included in the prices are all the materials that you’ll need for each course.
