Indoor climbing courses

Our climbing walls and courses have something for everyone. If you’ve never put on a climbing harness before, then you’re missing out on some amazing fun and exercise for mind and body alike. If you’re already grappling with overhangs, we can help you conquer them. Our courses start with Tasters or Family Start-Ups. By the end of the session, you may well be hooked. Then all you need to do is a one-off Start-Up course, and you can climb unsupervised at EICA: Ratho.

If you really want to get the most of the walls and routes at EICA: Ratho, it’s worthwhile developing your techniques and choices with an Improvers course. As well as using different footwork and handholds, you could meet potential climbing partners at a similar level to you. If you want to advance further, you can learn to lead climb – where you clip the rope in as you climb, rather than having it already in place. It opens up new route choices at EICA: Ratho, and could bring a new sense of excitement, challenge and achievement to your climbing. And then you can move on to some our awards courses …
