The beautiful game, soccer, footie, fitba – call it what you want, it’s the game of choice for much of the Scottish population. So how about playing it instead of watching it?

We have 11-a-side and 7-a-side pitches throughout Edinburgh in both grass and astro varieties. Our third-generation astro pitches are designed to minimise injuries, reduce ball bounce, and give a great natural feel – it’s like playing on grass, but better suited to the Scottish weather. Some venues like Saughton and Meggetland have floodlighting so you can play outdoors all year round.

You can book our pitches for a regular weekly slot after work, or use them for club training sessions. You could rent a pitch for an occasional kick-around with your mates, or organise a one-off football match to kick off a stag weekend or celebrate a birthday. Pitches are available throughout the football season (August-May), with a limited number available in the summer too.
